3D Volumetric Display

The Voxon VX1 – now available for purchase

Did you know that the Voxon VX1 is now commercially available? You can now get your hands on the world’s most advanced 3D volumetric display and it may not be as expensive as you think. Contact us here if interested in finding out more.

We have just delivered two VX1’s to two South Australian educational facilities and we are about to send another one out to a major university in the United States. There will be some very excited students (and teachers) over the next few weeks. These students will be able to display 3D content right in front of their eyes and create their own images, animations and games for the displays. We can’t wait to see what amazing things the students will create.

Lease Option

For event coordinators, advertisers and marketers we also have lease options. So, if interested in wowing people for an event or tradeshow, or putting your brand into a 3D interactive display, then contact us now.

Some of the uses for the Voxon VX1 are as follows:

Attracting people’s attention

When people see the Voxon 3D volumetric hologram in action, they’re instantly mesmerised – regardless of their age, interests or background. In a world saturated with media and attention for eyeballs, our technology is a completely different medium to communicate your brand, product or service in a 3D interactive form, whether that be for:

  • Public display interactive media
  • Advertising, branding and point of sale
  • Product display
  • Trade shows and showroom media
  • Communicating 3D digital model of a complex product or construct

Learning and Collaborating

As a new medium for interacting with 3D volumetric content and media, Voxon’s technology is perfect for the communication of complex information and concepts applicable for kindergarten to Year 12, through to tertiary and enterprise learning environments. The 3D volumetric technology:

  • Provides a shared experience for both educators and learners
  • Engages learners
  • Enables student interactivity with 3D models and concepts
  • Bring textbooks and real-world concepts to life
  • Incorporates gamification and interactivity to the learning environment

Fun and Entertainment

Our 3D volumetric display technology can provide a socially engaging form of entertainment that can help bring the imaginary into the real world with many potential entertainment applications including;

  • Traditional table top board gaming brought to digital life
  • Third person gaming
  • Multi-user and real-time interactivity
  • Display of real world spectator sports
  • In a form factor where users face each other rather than staring at a 2D screen

Working, Collaborating and Communicating in 3D

Voxon’s 3D volumetric technology can be used as a companion in any environment and workflow that works with existing 3D model data such as:

  • Live holographic video conferencing
  • Full 360-degree digital model view
  • Collaboration and communication
  • Display of complex data and concepts
  • Compatible with existing 3D model data formats and workflow

Amazing technology developed by you This is revolutionary and many new lines of progress will open for the future generations.Congratulation and best wishes to all associated with the development.

Quite Amazed. Future of advertisement for sure. View products in 3D. With time, it could develop to being more interactive.

  • I love it, am I correct in assuming this uses the Persistence of Vision phenomenon to create a coherent 3D image in the viewer’s brain? I have a product that also uses this effect, and the “milkiness” of the display volume caused by ambient light illuminating the kinetic substrate makes me think you have a very fast moving surface being illuminated periodically by a strobing projector of some sort.
If this is correct, then the mechanical feat of raising and lowering this surface fast enough for a non-strobey refresh rate (i’d imagine 40 Hz or greater?) is extremely impressive.
Is it loud? from personal experience, mechanisms this large moving that fast are hard to design in such a way that they operate without producing substantial sound pollution.
Either way, ingenious solution to the hologram problem. I’ll be your first customer once you’re able to bring manufacturing costs down and enter the broader market at a lower price point.

Hey Brandon, reasonably close on your assessment! It’s a great mix of software and hardware with some great engineering to be able to keep it quiet and efficient. We are using a resonant frequency to only be driving the screen a few millimeters but getting 8cm of volume on the z-axis. Stay tuned though, this is only the beginning 🙂

I’m now to investing is it possible to start with $1k? Or is that too low or your not open to poor noobs. I love this company either way. Cool stuff.

    • Lynton Manuel says:

Hi Owen, thanks for your interest. Voxon Photonics is currently a private company, and as such you cannot currently directly purchase shares on the stock exchange. We are considering a public listing in the future however so that situation may change.
