VOLUMETRIC DISPLAYS IN EDUCATION

Voxon’s technology is suited to a wide range of educational uses. Exploring volumetric data encourages social interaction and analysis in classroom settings at all educational levels.

At a primary level, students are engaged in simple learning games, puzzles, visualisations and other new experiences.

At a secondary level, students are able to explore medical and engineering data and take part in chemistry and physics based puzzles. Students can also create their own content, design 3D models and animations as well as develop software using Unity or LUA scripting.

At a tertiary level, students are utilising the full potential of Voxon’s display technology with access to a full development SDK, which includes both a C++ and Unity API. Students are able to visualise research data, integrate 3rd party input peripherals and experiment with the many new forms of volumetric data that are being developed for the AR and VR industries.

SOFTWARE FEATURES:

Realtime segmentation of full CT or MRI data. Support for viewing molecule (.MOL) files. Graphcalc 3D Mathematics Visualisation software provided.

KEY DIFFERENTIATION:

No glasses or headsets required. Communicate in 3D. Gather around in small groups, view from all angles, zoom in and manoeuvre around the objects or scene and discuss what you are viewing.
